Hi, my name is Scott Johnston. I have a physical disability that requires me to use a wheelchair. Accessing the restroom at my house is seldom an issue. Public restrooms, however, are a different story. They are not always accessible. Even if they are, it can be unsafe for people with mobility issues to transfer to and from their wheelchairs without help. Before leaving my house, I always have a few factors to consider. Will there be someone there to help if needed? How much liquid should I drink before leaving? Can I hold it if I need to?
The solutions currently on the market aren't always the best for everyone. Urination bottles often result in splashes or spills. Adult diapers are another option, but they have created a waste management issue by sitting in landfills and are uncomfortable to wear. Then you have catheters and wearable devices that can often lead to urinary infections and skin breakdowns. These are the options people with mobility issues have. I believe I have a better alternative. My product will give people the freedom, confidence, and privacy they need and deserve. The Pee Pipe will make public restrooms truly accessible!
